Gorka, 27, and Emmerdale actress Gemma, 32, have been surrounded by reports that they could be an item.
Gemma is dancing with Strictly Come Dancing star Aljaž Skorjanec, while dancer Gorka has been paired with frontrunner Alexandra Burke.
Alexandra, 29, is just behind Debbie McGee in the odds to lift this year’s Glitterball Trophy.
ITV actress Gemma is midway down the leaderboard and was recently praised for her week-on-week improvement by the judges.
Gorka Marquez has been part of Strictly Come Dancing since 2016 when he joined the professionals.
His first year on the BBC show saw him partnered with EastEnders actress Tameka Empson, who is better known as Kim Fox.
Sadly, the couple were knocked out of the competition in week three, however he stood in for Brendan Cole when his fellow dancer fell ill and performed with US singer Anastacia.
But this year it looks like he could go through to the final with former X Factor winner Alexandra.
Spanish-born star Gorka has been dancing since the tender age of 12 and soon rose to become one of the best in the nation.
In 2010 he represented Spain in the World Latin Championships and reached the semi-finals of the 2012 WDSF World Cup.
Along with Strictly Come Dancing, Gorka went on a world tour in the dance show Burn The Floor as he took on the lead role.
Gorka Marquez has spoken about about rumours of a Strictly Come Dancing romance with Gemma Atkinson
Gemma has been linked to Gorka since Strictly Come Dancing started this year after a source said: “They couldn’t keep away from each other at group rehearsals.”
The insider told The Sun: “Gorka even invited Gemma to his birthday meal and they sat together the whole night.”
“There is definitely something developing – everyone can see there’s an obvious attraction.”
Despite the rumours, Gorka spoke out and told the Daily Star in an interview in October that there was no truth in it, insisting: “We are just friends. We hang out together and do some workouts and I think she is beautiful.”
Gemma, too, has rubbished the claims after she told OK! that they weren’t true: “He didn’t have a birthday party. All of us are staying in the same hotel – the cast, the contestants and some of the production staff.
“One night before the launch, about 15 of us had a meal together and we told the restaurant to bring out a cake for Gorka.

“We all sang happy birthday and I was sitting with Simon [Rimmer] and Giovanni [Pernice], not Gorka, but I read we were all over each other. It wasn’t true.”
On top that, Gorka’s celebrity partner was said to be unhappy with the rumoured romance because it could affect her chances of winning the competition.
However, Alexandra has also spoken out on This Morning, telling hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby: “There’s no truth to any of it. It’s a shame because we’re all having such a wonderful time – the pros and celebs – and to read that is really quite heartbreaking. Then you have to go, it’s the nature of the beast and these things happen.”
Gorka, who was also on the ITV show with Alexandra, added: “I wish they had more cameras in rehearsal so they could see how much fun we have together. How much we love each other.
“I did [have breakfast with Gemma, 32]… a friends breakfast. I’m very sure [it’s not more]. The only time I have, I spend it with [Alexandra]. I don’t want to do anything but go home and rest – she’s the only woman in my life.”
