Stranger Things season 2 trailer: Eleven is BACK in final Friday the 13th teaser | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Most importantly Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) is finally back in town with a shock new transformation.

After apparently leaving Hawkins, she makes quite the entrance as she turns with a mop of curly brown hair – a contrast to her bald head in season one.

The most stark detail is her nose bleed, suggesting that all is not well and her powers are needed now more than ever.

The scope is bigger and wider as the monsters are growing and invading the real world.

While he was out of the frame for most of season one, Will Byers (played by Noah Schapp) will play a key role in this run.

Will is straddling the line between the two worlds as he has visions where he is in desolate world of the Upside Down, but even more than that he is making countless drawings of the disturbing things he’s seen.

Also, the mysterious Hawkins Laboratory will be heavily involved with the central group as they try to get to the bottom of what’s coming.

Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) once again loses her cool after none of the scientists can give her any answers to Will’s condition.

“This thing is all in his head and what have you done? Nothing! What is wrong with my boy?” she yells at an unknown figure who is probably the head of Hawkins Laboratory and Dr Martin Brenner’s (Matthew Modine) replacement.

While the show is still shrouded in mystery and intrigue, the message is clear: something is happening.

The full trailer follows on from a short teaser yesterday featuring brief but scary snippets from the forthcoming run.

Stranger Things will be available on Netflix on October 27.
